Inland Lakes Snowmobiling Club

The Indian River Snowmobile Grooming Club maintains 56 miles of trail running through the Northwest Lower Lake Effect Snow Belt and tends to have more average snowfall than most areas. From the old rail grade along side the Sturgeon River to the winding hardwood hills to the west, it is one of the most scenic trails in Northern Michigan.

Trails are groomed 6 days a week (weather permitting) through the season with experienced volunteer operators. Even between seasons the work continues with brushing, signing, clearing, and grading of the trails. We thank all our volunteers and ask that everyone help support the trails we use with a membership to the Indian River Snowmobile Grooming Club or sponsor an ad in the Inland Lakes Snowmobile ClubTrail Map.
