Flynn’s Retreat is on the east side of Mullett Lake, on Red Pine Point. It is perched on a high bluff with picturesque white wooden steps winding down to the water. Unlike lots of inland lake cottages, the water gets deep quickly, and swimmers can dive off the end of the dock, and climb up a sturdy ladder to the dock/sunning platform above. It’s my all-time favorite swimming spot. Since we face west, the sunsets are beautiful.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen is large and well equipped. In addition to the main-floor living area, a walk-out basement family room provides a nice hang-out for the kids. Many large windows create a light and airy cottage.
Also available for your use is a shore station off the dock which will hold a boat up to 3600 lbs. or 22 feet long, or a small pontoon or jet ski. Also provided for your use: a small row boat, ocean kayak, corn hole game, croquet set, basketball net/balls, hammock, lawn and beach chairs and an outside firestove, as well as linens and towels and paper products.
Our weekly rate, during the prime weeks of July and August, is a flat $1700. We ask for a $200 deposit, and the remaining $1500 upon your arrival. Two-week rentals are $3200.
The weekly rate, for June, September and October, is $1400.
