Flynn’s Retreat is on the east side of Mullett Lake, on Red Pine Point. It is perched on a high bluff with picturesque white wooden steps winding down to the water. Unlike lots of inland lake cottages, the water gets deep quickly, and swimmers can dive off the end of the dock, and climb up a sturdy ladder to the dock/sunning platform above. Although there is no sandy beach, there are also no weeds or muck, just a rocky bottom. Water shoes are a must! All and all, it is a wonderful swimming spot for kids who can swim and handle the steps on the bluff. Since it faces west, the sunsets are beautiful.
Also available for your use is a shore station off the dock which will hold a boat up to 3600 lbs. or 22 feet long, or a small pontoon or jet ski. You may also want to use our small row boat or ocean kayak.
