The Wolverine Festival Committee is a local, non-profit organization whose main purpose is to support, through charitable donation as well as fundraising opportunities, other local non-profit entities, such as the library, public schools, area athletics programs, etc., whose purpose is to advance the quality of the rural community life through education and physical fitness. The purpose of the activities undertaken by this organization, such as the Lumberjack Festival as well as other events through the year, is to strengthen area commerce by promoting both tourism and good stewardship of our natural resources while also acting as an outlet through which the citizens of the Wolverine, Michigan area may demonstrate pride and pro-active involvement in their community through voluntarism.
The Festival is held every year during the last weekend in June and it’s a great time to catch up with friends, the community and businesses in the area. Admission is $3.00 per person a day OR with the purchase of this years logo winner’s button of $5.00, you get all three days!
